Are you frantically looking at the clock like it’s December 24 and you’re waiting on Santa. Well, April 29 is the December 25th equivalent and Santa is Peter Moore holding a nice unopened copy of Grand Theft Auto IV for your next-gen system. I haven’t been this excited about a video game release for a long time. I’m still debating whether or not to attend my local gamestore’s midnight launch. Although I have to get up for work at 5:30am tomorrow, being a part of this world wide event would somewhat be special. I haven’t ever attended a midnight launch of any game, so I think it’s time I paid my gamer dues and crossed the burning sands into Liberty City. I really want to know how many gamers out there that will be lining up to be the first to grab their copy of GTAIV. I have decided to go to the launch party. I hope there isn’t a million people, because I just want to get the game and go home and play
I can wait. I’ve been there done that. Ill just get home early from work tomorrow and beat it before you do Maverick.

I went to WalMart at 11:30, 12:15 the girl came out with a box of PS3 copies and gave the old “That’s all we have” excuse.
They didn’t have any collector’s editions obviously, so I got the standard 360 one from Gamestop next door. Played about an hour last night. LOVED it. Want to play some more multi….
i think me and bumblb will be playing some multi this evening. im trying to get the house cleaned so I can play some IV
I’m still debating whether to rent this first or to just purchase it. So for those that already own the game, what are your first impressions of it? How is the multiplayer? What do you like and what do you not like about the game?

Its either the controls or the camera angles but something is funky when you walk around. I am used to having to turn the camera when I walk around and you dont have to do that in this game. Other than that, if you have liked previous GTA’s then I think you will like this one. Shooting, driving, cursing, screwing, its all there. We tried the multiplayer last night with some TMG members and it was fun. I didnt actually play a game but we just did the free roam and it was a blast.
I’ve been playing some multi with a couple friends. Tried deathmatch, team deathmatch, race, and cops n crooks. Cops and crooks was a little unorganized because not a lot of people know what to do and were just having fun blowing each other to bits. But if you want to do that, deathmatch is great fun. Specifically team deathmatch. groups of small teams (2-4 on each team, I think I’ve seen up to 6 teams in one match).
I won’t say this is better than COD4, but to me its more fun than Halo multi. I’d rate it as a buy!
