Valve making Zombies wait two extra weeks to eat us

In an effort to not have AAA titles release on top of each other, Valve has pushed back the release of left 4 dead two weeks. The 4 player co-op zombie filled frag fest gives zombies a little more time to coordinate their attacks on the four survivors. Little is known about the surrounding incidents that lead to the Zombie takeover in L4d. The game will used Valve’s sacred Source engine, which also is used in counterstrike: source. Coinciding with the release of the original Half Life in 1998 is valve’s reason for pushing the release date back. The official release date is November 18, 2008. We should thank Valve for allowing us to buy Gears of War on one Paycheck and in two weeks, buying L4D on the next check.

Though I’m stoked for this game, I welcome delays at this point with any game. With so many great titles coming out my head may explode if they don’t delay more dates.
