Countdown to Greatness!
If you saw King of Kong then you know how insane people can get over Donkey Kong. You also know that Billy Mitchell is a complete jackass and the current holder of the world record score in Donkey Kong.
On June 2nd, 2009 Steve Wiebe is taking another shot at greatness. At this year’s E3 he will be attempting to beat Billy Mitchell’s record score. Do you believe in Cinderella Stories? Did Rocky make you cry? Normally I love to root for the heel but not this time. I’m pulling for you Steve!
The interesting side angle will be the inner struggle for Billy Mitchell. In the documentary he appeared to be a complete coward and refused to play in public. But he’s also a mega-attention-whore. Which part of his personality will win out? My bet is that he shows since he doesn’t have to compete.

He did but since then, Billy Mitchell reclaimed it. I think it said that at the end of the movie but I havent watched it in forever so I cant say for sure.
