How Much is Gunmetal Gray Worth to You?

So how much is the gunmetal gray color worth to you? Is it worth, say, $115? Because that is what it will cost you. The gunmetal gray PS3 with MGS4 Limited edition will run you $599 through Konami’s website. It includes a 40GB console with DualShock 3 controller($399) and the Limited Edition of MGS4($85) for a total of $484. The only thing that makes this bundle different is the gunmetal gray color. So again the question is what is gunmetal gray worth to you? Are you such a fanboy(or girl) that you will pay $115 for a different color PS3? Another point worth mentioning is that the 40GB model does not support backwards compatibility so you won’t be able to play all your favorite classic MGS games.

They are also offering an 80GB model bundled with the standard edition of the game but I can’t seem to find it anywhere so maybe I was hallucinating when I saw this article mentioning its release. Let us know which bundle, if any, you will be getting for this game or if you will just be picking up the game by itself.

Sony just doesn’t get it. Why would you pay $500 for the system that’s not backwards compatible. I want to tell myself that backwards compatibility doesn’t mean that much, but then I remember that I haven’t played FFXII. And considering that XIII will come out in 10 more years, back-compat meants a lot more to me. Sony drops the ball…..again. I’ll just get the $399 model with the special addition of MGS4!

In the videogame world, it would make a lot more sense if guys like us ran companies like Microsoft and Sony. At lease WE have some common sense. I don’t understand the logic behind selling a MGS PS3 that you can only play one MGS game on. S-T-U-P-I-D. It’s sad to think that people are giving Game Stop interest-free loans to get shafted like this.

I would love to have this system but I want a bc version so I can put my ps2 away. Right now I have at least 7 game systems attached to my tv and if I am going to hook up more then I at least want to take one off. I have been waiting for MGS4 and Killzone 2 to come out to pick it up. But to answer the question, no gunmetal gray isnt worth 500 dollars to me.
