I pretty much only play Gears multiplayer in private matches (because I’m bad – not ‘Michael Jackson’ bad, either), so I don’t use the public matchmaking service. I’m reading it’s SLOW. For some people, REALLY slow. Like take your dog for a walk and come back to your 360 and still not have a match slow.
I don’t get it. They released a patch last week, yet problems still persist. How many 360 games have been released with working multiplayer code? Lots I would think. All this from a First Party published game. For shame, Microsoft!
they should have copied and pasted bunie’s team matchmaking
Yeah man, I thought that Halo 3 matchmaking was slow when it was released. It almost makes me want to buy another XBOX just so I cna play a different game while I am waiting for a match.
After the patch I noticed more laggy games than before. The lag was so bad it was virtually unplayable and quiting out requires going to the dashboard. One of the biggest titles out and they still having issues with matchmaking…poo. Feels like I’m a PC gamer again.
i’m kinda saddened by this.like i told chuck and the others the other night everyone was hyped for the game . i was pretty much garuanteed it be “THE GAME” to be played till when ever and my xbox was dead at the time.yet i still went to go get it..got lost on the way to circut city where they gave out a free ms points card since i didnt want the golden toys.i get my box back and i’ve played only like 3 games so far and a bit of the story.i know people dont play it because of the bugs and the lag like the rolling and changeing weapons like most people did in 1 ya cant do. and the aim is off too.just bumbs me out i spent money on that one when i coulda grabbed a different game lol
i love gears but this is just too. much i traded it in last week just for that reason,and i bought the limited edition copy.but if i cant play online then the games no good to me so in the meantime i will stick to gears 1 and if they fix the problem ill think aboput picking it up again
