In light of all the big budget games hogging all the publicity at E3, I thought it might be interesting to put a spotlight (albeit a small one) on games that look top tier, but may not be on your radar. One of these titles is Vanquish–published by Sega and created by Platinum Games.

If the name Platinum Games sounds familiar, its because they produced one of the best action games in a long time, Bayonetta. They seem to be putting what they learned from that project into this one. This time instead of angels, your fighting Russian built mechs. Release window for this awesome title is October 2010.
