i just got this game for free because of ea’s mess up with sim city..only becayse i either had the other games on their list or the orhter ones didnt seem great but i wasnt gonna get this game if i had to buy it since i didnt get the other 2 but i watched game play and it seemd good too bad it lags on my laptop…just another reason to go buy a new pc

I have just had exactly the same issue with xbox support! i am so disgusted that i am now writing a letter direct to microsoft! i have had my kinect 2 years and it has never been moved from where i first set it up! If they fail to resolve the issue and replace my cable for free i shall be moving my custom elsewhere!

Yeah multiprogrammables work great. This is just a toy for anyone that can program a thermostat. And yeah its pricey. If I didn’t have to move the thermostat I probably wouldn’t have bought it, but since I was doing the work anyway I decided to get the toy.
Its worth the money but I can see people not buying it for the cost.

Bob, excellent article. I have been curious about this Nest thermostat, but the price is too rich for my blood. Plus I have been using a multi-programmable one for 12 years and it works well for my needs.

First and Foremost, thanks for listening to the show. Nice that you stumbled back into the website. We are continuing to work at keeping it updates with content and will be posting more editorials over the next few weeks. The relationships are what drive the game and i’m glad for WD’s existence because it is pushing the medium forward. Now, mature games doesn’t just signify the amount of cursing and nudity, but a mature story. I still need to finish Eps. 4 and 5. My save was “somehow” deleted. But, that hasn’t deterred me from this game, fortunately.

If you told me a year ago that one of my favorite games of 2012 would be point and click adventure game I would have told you to stop using crack! It’s a testament to TT’s storytelling (and Walking Dead brand as a whole) that they could pull me into a game so badly because that is what truly is driving this game, not the graphics, or gameplay but the relationships with the characters and the tough decisions you have to make (which usually results with some dying….horribly!).

Love the show and always forget you guys have a website but finally got on to check it out.

if the industry would do more to check for drugs there wouldnt be so many deaths most of the olders guys died from like heart attacks/pain pill stuff. i’d like to think i’m lucky because i was going to go to wrestling school when i gradurated highschool and all that till my dad was like you’re stupid you cant do that shit and so i didnt go. i probably woulda been one of the ones that went that way.

As one of the listeners whom didn’t grow up watching wrestling, I wasn’t bothered by the path the show took. It was very apparent that you all shared a big interest in wrestling. Hell, even Bob and Kevin found something to bond over. Episodes like this are needed sometimes. You guys aren’t paid to podcast. You get together to do the show because you want to, not because you have to.

First of all, thanks for reading my musings. I’ve been reading your work for a long time now. It just seemed odd at first to see review scores on a console. I really don’t see a point, when the text can describe more accurately what could possibly be wrong with the system. But, I guess that logic applies to everything. I agree with you though, i think people want to know what they’re getting. Sometimes i feel like we are beginning to rate everything. Things aren’t allowed to flourish, because there is always some sort of score attached to it. Thanks for your well thought out response. It is much appreciated.

I don’t have a problem with outlets reviewing a console at launch as long as they acknowledge that the score is a moving bar, like Polygon did. People want to know what they’re getting before they make a purchase. Much like reviews for TVs or blu-ray players the enjoyment you get out of those items depends on the content you get for it. But most importantly, I think gamers just want to know it works fine since so many people were burned with the Xbox 360 and its high failure rate at launch. I don’t remember reviews for consoles before then. But I could be wrong about that.
