I think the console manufacturers will need to change the way that new consoles are launched. Since most gamers have made a significant investment in digital content and established strong online communities, a new console should enhance the gamer’s experience with new features but still be backwards compatible and continue the established online services. Th next generations of consoles needs to iterate similar to PCs or tablets.

Seriously, I dig where you’re coming from. We like what we like, and we’re used to what we’re used to. I couldn’t be happier with my Mac, and since my HP laptop has long since croaked, I can’t wait to replace it with a Macbook Air.

Nice! I recently swapped out my power supply and bought a graphics card. Not near the project u took on, but I totally understand what u mean and agree that the majority of working inside a computer is overcoming the fear. It’s really not that difficult with the amount of support and videos on the net. Also, it’s fun and satisfying. You should be happy with your new cre-a-tion! Buwahhhhhh!

I’ve not picked it up, I hardly have money for just one game and there are so many coming out. I might possibly get Resistance 3 instead of this. Is it as buggy as people say? What system did you get it on? Is it worth it as a single player purchase? I hear that cutscenes feature four characters but if you are playing single player they use the same cutscenes, is that true?

I feel you on that issue. When Xbox #6 red-ringed on me, the agent told me to buy the new slim. I was an Xbox customer from the original system. Had LIVE since the original Xbox as well, but they lost me as a customer, so now I’m a Playstation fanboy.

MS is “too big to fail”. They learned that even with their terrible quality of hardware record, people will still buy their product because LIVE is so good. They can do these underhanded tricks because they know that odds are, you’ll be back. I’m not saying that Sony or Nintendo wouldn’t do the same thing if they were in M$’s position, but I’ve had issues with Microsoft on the PC side (which caused me to switch to Apple for computing needs) as well as consoles, so I’m admittedly biased.

Bottom line–thats no way to treat a customer; regardless of how big a company is. Just as M$ found themselves on top this gen, next gen could be a completely different story; especially if they keep treating their customer base like used toilet paper.

U can use the wii controllers. There are other wii controllers other than the wiimote, but I still think you should be able to buy other controllers.

The cover mechanic did a few times throw Phelps into the fire of enemies by locking onto the wrong side of cover but that didn’t really disappoint me that much as I know many games that have worse cover systems.
