I don’t like racing games. I’ve enjoyed one or two over the years but not many. Outrun was fun when I could get my quarter up to play. I vaguely remember playing some Test Drive on my Commodore 64. Other than those, I don’t remember anything really catching my eye.
For those reasons, I didn’t even look at Burnout Paradise until recently. Now I’m tempted by a racing game for the first time in decades. This title calls to the geek in me. First it showed the Delorean. Now it’s adding Ecto 1 from Ghostbusters, KITT from Knight Rider and the General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard.
Time to run to GameStop.

Criterion Games announced this week that Burnout Paradise will be available this week via download from the PlayStation Store for $29.99. More details after the jump.
