Well it’s here, the Gamers with Kids podcast has launched. For those who didn’t know, The Lord Phantom and Lady Sedetha (Queen of the forums) have started a new gaming podcast. Both are regular members of the GHR community so please show your support for them.

XBLRadio was the first ever gaming podcast that I downloaded through iTunes on my bright and shiny Nano. Though my Nano is scratched up, banged up, and not so shiny anymore, XBLRadio continues to be one the podcasts I look forward to hearing each week. The concept of getting the community’s voice on gaming topics has always appealed to me. The shows are broken up into .0 shows (Gaming News centric) and .5 shows (Live on Live, interviewing gamers through XBoxLive). On episode 68.5 I had the pleasure of being a guest along with OREUS and X3R0 9 (co-host of the .0 shows). It was a fun show and I give props to INFECTEDPB503, co-host of the .5 shows along with Mr B4, for being able to facilitate the show and edit it despite some obstacles that night. So check it out!

What is Critical Strike?

Critical Strike is a audio podcast where Josh Bicknell, Keith Harbourt and Kyle Dumond discuss our views in gaming. We tend to be less news based because there are already so many great video game based podcasts who discuss the industry news.

What opinions do you have?

Not much, really. We tend to do a top 5 list on each episode (example: top 5 casual games) where users can get to know what we think about current and past games. At the end of each episode we occasionally do a bit of discussion on one topic within the news that caught our interest, but again we tend to not be too news based.

So thats it?

We also have a section that we call the video game music challenge. I (Josh) love video game music and I know many others do as well so I like to play a small clip for people to try to guess what game that music is from.
