Another point worth mentioning is that the 40GB model does not support backwards compatibility so you won’t be able to play all your favorite classic MGS games.

They are also offering an 80GB model bundled with the standard edition of the game but I can’t seem to find it anywhere so maybe I was hallucinating when I saw this article mentioning its release.
